If you dont know where to plae your hands look at the clown and try to do the same as him. ESSAY ABOUT VIVALDI AND "THE FOUR SEASONS"
Hi everyone,
You are going to do some research on one of the most important masterpiece of all times and its composer. We are talking about "The four seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi.
You will have to do an essay with an extension between one and three pages. You have loads of information on the internet.
The deadline is Friday the 24th of April.

Ultimamente muchos de vosotros habéis mostrado bastante interés por tocar la guitarra. ¡Qué gran noticia!
Que sepáis que me toca en lo personal pues es, de los instrumentos que toco, el que más tiempo lleva conmigo, ¡más de 30 años!
La guitarra es un instrumento con muchas ventajas pero quizá las mejores en mi opinión son dos: 1) lo rápido que se aprende y 2) que puedes cantar mientras tocas.
Cuando tocamos la flauta no podemos cantar ya que la boca está ocupada soplando, además la flauta, al ser un instrumento melódico solo puede producir una nota después de la otra.
La guitarra en cambio, es un instrumento armónico lo cual nos brinda otra ventaja más ya que, aparte de poder tocar una nota detrás de otra como con la flauta, también nos permite tocar varias notas a la vez. Lo mismo ocurre con el piano.
El que se aprenda rápido no quiere decir que se domine enseguida y si no me creéis, en vuestro profe Miguel tenéis la prueba: cada vez que la cojo siento que tengo mil retos y desafíos por delante.
Un amigo músico me dijo hace mucho tiempo que la guitarra es como una montaña con una ladera muy suave al principio, lo que te permite empezar a subir y disfrutar desde el primer momento pero con una cima sumamente alta, tan alta que nadie la ha coronado al cien por cien aún. Muy buena comparación ¿No creéis?
Dentro de este blog, en las pestañas de la página de inicio, hay un apartado específico de guitarra con los acordes más básicos. También están en los paneles del aula de música. Todos deberíais saber interpretar los diagramas de cada acorde pero ante cualquier duda podéis preguntar en clase o aquí abajo del todo en el apartado de comentarios.
A continuación os paso la letra de "Have you ever seen the rain" de The Creedence Clearwater Revival con el acorde justo encima de la sílaba donde hay que cambiar.
Try to play very slowly in the beginning and remember: you can sing while you play! Don´t miss the opportunity!
Finally I would like to remind you that playing guitar is very addictive. It might be a bit disappointing and painful in the beginning but if you are patient enough you will be surprised of yourself within a few weeks.
The moment you play your first song is something you will never forget and from that day on all you will want is to play more and more.
Once you cross the line there is no way back...... Thank God!
